    What is MJ Creatives and who is behind the programme? +
    MJ Creatives is a premier recurring creative industry accelerator co-created by Mseto East Africa (pioneered since 2006 by Willy M. Tuva, broadcasting across Citizen TV and Radio Citizen) and Jamhuri Cultural Vibes (cultural organization connecting Kenyan talent with the diaspora and hosting the UK Jamhuri Winter Festival). Together, we equip creatives with business acumen, copyright protection, mental wellness, and global market access.
    How many masterclasses must I attend to complete the syllabus? +
    An applicant needs to cover 6 masterclasses to complete the entire syllabus. This takes approximately 1 year to complete. The curriculum is delivered progressively in a cyclic model: Learn → Apply → Connect → Return → Scale.
    What are the confirmed dates for Module 1 in different towns? +
    The confirmed dates for Module 1 across Kenya are:
    • 7th November 2026 – Nairobi (Module 1 Launch)
    • 14th November 2026 – Coast Region / Mombasa (Module 1)
    • 12th December 2026 – Nakuru (Module 1)
    • 16th January 2027 – Eldoret / Kisumu (Module 1)
    • 30th January 2027 – Nairobi (Module 2 Commencement)
    What is the special 19th December event in Nairobi? +
    On 19th December 2026, MJ Creatives will host a landmark Creative Showcase Festival in Nairobi to celebrate and exhibit the creative breakthroughs of the Nairobi, Mombasa, and Nakuru cohorts following the completion of their first 3 classes. It features live performances, creative pitch panels, and media broadcasts.
    What resources and materials do participants receive? +
    Participants receive the comprehensive Curriculum Guidebook (35 modules), the hands-on Participant Action Workbook, standardized attorney-reviewed contract templates (NDAs, performance riders, service agreements), rate calculation sheets, and access to the closed alumni mentor network.
    Can I apply if I am outside Nairobi? +
    Yes! The masterclass is nationwide. You can register for the Coast (Mombasa), Rift Valley (Nakuru), or Western (Kisumu/Eldoret) cohorts. The syllabus is completely harmonized, allowing you to attend sessions across different host cities.
